My BaxMAX Lumbar Support Update

And since it’s been so long, since I’ve mentioned it, I wanted to re-write this post to update it for 2025 and let readers know that my BaxMAX is still going strong! You can see where I have written about it more under the main BaxMAX heading here.

Over the last number of years, I have been spending summers in a mountain cottage that is absolutely adorable, and in a stellar location. However, it’s not my cottage, and so I cannot change furnishings. Which means I’m using someone else’s chairs, tables, and bed.

The bed is an old “full size” or “double” bed that I just cannot seem to get comfortable in – I don’t know why, but I just cannot get a decent night sleep in it, and I’ve notice an uptick in lower back pain (and collarbone pain) since being here. For some reason, my husband is 100% comfortable with all the furnishings – he is definitely FAR more adaptable than I am.

So, that’s one reason I pulled my BaxMAX out of my suitcase today. One VERY positive, additional thing the brace seems to help with, which I wasn’t even really counting on at all, is that it also helps with my posture when I’m sitting at the computer (like I am right now). It’s actually helping a great deal.

Anyway, that’s one of the reasons I felt the need to write today.
